PLOTS
The
Dystopia Storylines
The Tainami: The people of the prairies far from the
settled kingdoms, where the caribou and buffalo roam free.
They are simple, dressed in tarnished leathers and sometimes
painting their bodies to decorate them. They are their own
race the Tainami, but are remarkably human in body with all
the major differences coming from the spirit. An elf or half-elf
is not unheard off among their tribes. They set out from the
rest, their deep coppery skins and slanted eyes mark them
as the Tainami no matter where they go, so they mainly stay
on their lands amidst their own people. There are many tribes
of Tainami, each with their customs although it is the law
of the Spirits the rules the Prairie.
Magic Academy: Dae’draba is the biggest and most
exclusive magic academy of the world of Xanele. Half of Dae’draba
lies in the prime in a cluster of islands somewhere in the
Lost Sea. The other half in Drabaerne, the exclusive plane
created to sustain the mysteries of the academy. It has remained
a neutral zone and sanctuary for scholars and magic users.
One of the few places where literacy still thrives. Its reputation
extends across the planes, the secrets it keeps the target
of many power seekers. Classes are now open, and all students
are welcome, the good, the bad and the ugly.
Outcasts: Xanele, unbeknown to the main populace, is a
vortex. It sucks in planar travelers, the Big-black travelers
and any other person that comes too close to the power funnel
surrounding the world. Many have been brought in from other
planets or civilizations and are struggling to survive in
a world that itself is struggling. The most recent group has
banded together to form an army under the banner of the Dahak
(3-headed Dragon) to conquer the land. But along with old
and new enemies there are also old 'friends' who have come
to thwart their plot upon the unwitting world.
The Odyssey: An extended journey to save Xanele from
the army of Lady Entropy. What are the Seven Temples? Who
are the Guardians? Who is Canelor and can he really be defeated?
Is he related to Lady Entropy? It is a journey filled with
questions and perils, but probably the only ray of hope for
a dying world.
History: Anything related to the history of the world.
Even the past of the characters as Xanele is affected by the
individuals that walk upon it, just as the world affects them.
One of the recent ones involves the Age of Immortals. A part
Immortal King turned against his people, kin, and even his
wife. He allied with the imprisoned enemy of nearly all races
of the time, Lady Asm. Her inquisition had been halted and
herself imprisoned within a stone but her cause and minions
trudge on. Their weapon: a race, similar to Guardians, known
as Vampire. Lord
Ballard, with hands of trustworthy Immortals and Guardians,
tried to keep Asm from escaping and using her raw power combined
with King Tyler’s political power. They were aided by
a number of races, including Dragons, Humans, and the Fae.
The most trusted ally of the forces against Asm was the Lady
Isabelle, Immortal Guardian to Ballard and his lover. Asm,
Tyler, and their comrades were only one tyrannical group that
contributed to Dystopia’s chaotic history and present.
History plays it self out in Birth of Legends and many other
stories that will come to shape the reality of Xanele in the
era of Dystopia.
The Non-Dystopia Storylines

Shadowlands and the spirits (Kitsune, Tengu, and Nature) are
trying to save the humans from the greedy, powerhungry. The

Flesh. Somewhere along the roads lies the key to peace among
all the races, or something like that... join these hereos,
who actually just a bunch of kids, while they try to save
their people and themselves.
Dark Ages: Earth, 1026 B.C. The religious leaders have
proclaimed a Holy Inquisition to purge the world of evil.
Wizards and witches are brought before the masses and burned
to rid them of a life of sin. What had once been fantastical
has been replaced by reason, aided by religious fervor. Can
the mythical and magical survive in a world that does not
understand it? In a small pocket of Lindesfere, England an
enchanted forest is dying because the Forest Master has been
captured by a vengeful demon. It is up to a small group of

Places
Joran’s Inn and Tavern: (Krolhagen) -- Krolhagen
is believed to be the center of the world, and Joran’s
Inn the center of Krolhagen, so it follows that the establishment’s
renowned is legendary. Mystics love it, finding it centering
and inherently powerful. Joran has been there to run the inn
for as long as anyone can remember. It is a very rustic place,
yet over the years it has attracted all races and kinds of
people.
The Arena: (Krolhagen) -- A coliseum where gladiator
fights are held.
Pétales De Rose: (Krolhagen: Red Light District)
--The centre of the red-light district. Sometimes referred
to simply as “The Rose”, Pétales De Rose
is not just a brothel. The first floor consists of a huge
ballroom and dining area. There is a bar as well as a stage
were live entertainment is always provided. Sometimes they
put on plays or host banquets and balls. Employees can be
seen walking around in robes, waiting for their customers.
The upper levels are dedicated to the brothel activity and
living quarters for the staff. Madame Jennavieve is the head
of the establishment.
Dae’draba: (???)
Holy
Places
Spirit Mountain: The Spirit Mountain is a sacred place
on the southern continent of Greensands. The Tainami believe
this is where the Spirits, the center of their religion, reside.
Few have ventured to the place and out of respect it is uninhabited.
However, there is rumor that a long ago banished clan is gathering
in numbers having encamped at the base of the mountain.
Blessed
High: Few outside of the Alanois and Gorgoyle know the
exact mountain that this refers to. Both lay claim to the
mountain, Gorgoyle for territory and the Alanois not only
for territory but religious reasons. Within the mountain are
natural made tunnels leading to many caverns, but the largest
is the home of an underground lake. At the center of the lake
is a tiny island just big enough for a magnificent altar dedicated
to the Goddess of Magic, Briana. Aside from the priests of
Briana amidst the Alanois race have been to this sacred hollow
beneath the earth.
Grove of Healing: On the smallest island of Oceania
there is a forest. Within this forest is said one of its many
groves is one made up entirely of Aethla, or Chaye’s
Trees. Due to it’s difficult to reach location few can
confirm or deny whether this grove actually exists. Clergy
members for the Goddess of Healing are reluctant to reveal
which grove it is, if it does exist, as they are very protective
of these trees.
